Tíng

Water is both a life-giving medium and a language between humans and nature. In Chinese, pavilion (亭) shares its sound with stop (停) and historically implied a pause. This project draws on that symbolism, using the pavilion as a space to slow down and reflect, where the fluctuations of water create moments of dialogue with nature and evoke emotional
resonance.
